Check your operating system first. This APK targets Android-based Fire OS. Vega OS devices cannot install Android APKs. Open your device’s About screen to identify the model and OS. Physical Fire OS device validation of this build is pending.
01 / CHECK YOUR DEVICE

Find your model and software version

Open Settings → My Fire TV (or Device & Software) → About. Record the device model and Fire OS version. Menu names vary by device. Make sure the device has internet access and enough free storage.

02 / GET THE APK

Download from Meedtube.xyz

Open the Download page on your computer. Choose the universal ARM build. The same APK targets Android TV, Google TV and compatible Fire OS devices.

Compare the file’s SHA-256 checksum with the published value. On Windows, use Get-FileHash .\meedtube-plus-tv-1.2.3.apk -Algorithm SHA256.

03 / INSTALL

Choose a transfer method

Transfer the APK with a trusted file-transfer tool and open it on the TV. If Fire OS asks, allow installation for that specific installer in Developer Options → Install unknown apps. Older Fire OS versions may label this Apps from Unknown Sources. Disable that permission after installation.

For developer testing, enable ADB debugging, connect to the TV on your private network, authorize the connection on the TV, and run:

adb connect TV_IP_ADDRESS:5555
adb install -r meedtube-plus-tv-1.2.3.apk

Disable ADB debugging when finished. Find Amazon’s current instructions in its official installation guide ↗.

04 / CONNECT

Open the app and scan the QR

Launch Meedtube+ from your apps. Use your phone camera to scan the code, then open the detected link. Your TV continues automatically after the guide confirms setup.

If setup cannot connect, check both devices’ connections and select Retry. Expired setup codes refresh automatically.

05 / GET COMFORTABLE

Your remote is all you need

Use the D-pad to move, Select to choose, and Back to close menus. The remote’s play/pause button controls playback. Use the on-screen keyboard if voice search is unavailable. Picture-in-picture and audio formats depend on the device.

Keep your setup. Keep your peace of mind.

Install an update over the existing app using the same package and signing certificate. Uninstalling clears local preferences and setup. If you see a signature error, contact support before removing the installed version.

For a problem report, include the Fire TV model, Fire OS version, Meedtube+ version, and the step that failed. Never include account passwords or setup tokens.
