This playback-fix build passed automated tests. Installation and playback on the affected phone still need device confirmation. Saved tracks need internet unless downloaded; Offline audio includes a background playback service; device acceptance is ongoing. Downloadable formats depend on the source. This is separate from the TV app.
Install on your Android phone
- Download and open the APK from Downloads.
- Allow your browser or file manager to install apps when Android asks.
- Install over your existing Meedtube+ Mobile app to keep settings, then turn off the install permission.
- Open the app. Phone setup uses a clickable link.
If Android reports a signature conflict, keep your existing installation and contact support. Uninstalling clears local data and downloads.

- Allow your chosen browser or file manager to install unknown apps in the Fire TV developer settings.
- Open the APK and follow the installation prompts.
- Launch Meedtube+ with the remote. Scan the first-run QR code using your phone.
- Turn off the install permission afterward.
This is a sideload download, not an Amazon Appstore release. Menu names vary by Fire OS version.

Choose the TV APK for compatible ARM Android TV, Google TV and Android TV boxes with a remote. Windows, Roku, Samsung Tizen and LG webOS cannot install this APK.

- Download the APK on the box, or transfer it using USB or a local file-transfer app.
- Open it with a file manager and allow that installer when Android asks.
- Install, open Meedtube+ and complete the QR setup using your phone.
- Use your remote to browse and play; turn off the install permission afterward.
Codec support and playback features depend on the box. Device-specific testing remains pending.
Fire TV Stick and TV boxes use the TV APK above. Android phones use the separate mobile download. For updates, keep the same package and signing certificate; do not uninstall to bypass a signature conflict.

TV 1.2.4 uses the same certificate as 1.2.3 and can update it in place. TV 1.1.0 uses a different certificate. Keep your current installation if Android reports a signature conflict; uninstalling removes local data. Original TV 1.1.0 APK remains available.
Detailed Fire OS setup guideBefore you install
- Choose a compatible Android TV, Google TV or TV box.
- Download the APK and transfer it to the TV.
- Allow your chosen installer to install the APK. Review the TV prompts.
- Launch Meedtube+ and scan the setup QR with your phone.
Development APKs use an Android debug certificate. Updates must use the same signing certificate as your installed build. Avoid uninstalling unless you intend to clear local data.
