Missing or failed playback details now trigger one independent alternate request. Failed results are no longer reused from the cache. If recovery is exhausted, a short retry message replaces the stack trace and automatic reload loop.
Each flavor passed 10 recovery tests. Playback on the affected devices still needs confirmation. The mobile certificate matches 1.19.3; the TV certificate matches 1.2.0, but differs from 1.1.0. Do not uninstall an existing app to bypass a signature conflict.
The website update adds a consistent SVG icon system, clearer device installation guides, and refreshed download cards.
The Cinema update
- A refreshed TV interface with shared colors, stronger focus states, redesigned navigation, settings cards, search, dialogs, onboarding and playback controls.
- Fire OS compatibility adjustments for sideload installation and remote-driven use.
- More robust radio action selection for SponsorBlock settings, refreshed category queries and corrected prompt timing at different playback speeds.
- An animated website with an interactive CleanWatch illustration and device-specific installation guides.
Physical-device verification is pending. Voice search, picture-in-picture and decoding depend on the device.
The supplied 1.2.0 development APK uses a different certificate from the previous 1.1.0 APK. It cannot update that installation in place. Keep your existing installation until a build signed with its original key is available; uninstalling clears local data.

Update without starting over
Use the same package and signing certificate as your current installation. Install over the existing app to retain local data. Development builds are signed with a development certificate; check the Download page for the published build’s details.
