THE MEEDTUBE+ FIELD GUIDE

A practical family viewing checklist

Kids Mode simplifies navigation and protects settings. Combine it with supervised viewing and your device’s own controls.

Prepare the experience

  1. Review the actual videos in your selected subscriptions and playlists. A channel name alone does not establish suitability.
  2. Open Settings and review Child mode or Kids Mode. Configure the settings password when prompted and keep it with the responsible adult.
  3. Review Shorts visibility and playback before enabling the simplified interface.
  4. Return to browsing and check which sections, search paths and controls remain in your version.

Test before handing over the remote

  1. Use Back and Home to understand which screens they reach.
  2. Confirm Settings requests the protection you configured.
  3. Check account switching and other TV applications: Meedtube+ does not secure the entire device.
  4. Watch together and review chosen playlists regularly.

Understand the limits

Kids Mode does not guarantee that every video, thumbnail, caption or recommendation is age-appropriate. CleanWatch skips identified interruptions; it does not classify content for children.

Use the TV platform’s device-level restrictions where needed and test them on the actual device. A simpler interface does not replace adult supervision.
